Part 1: Cold Calling Made Simple ☎️

Cold calling is still one of the fastest ways to get in front of decision-makers and secure prime vending locations.

Sure, it can feel intimidating at first, but with the right approach, it’s incredibly effective.

Here’s how to turn every cold call into an opportunity:

🎯 Set Daily Targets: Make at least 50 calls per day. Aim for 10 calls per hour to stay on track. Use a CRM or spreadsheet to track your progress.

⏳ Time It Right: Call between 9-11 AM or 1-5 PM—these are peak hours for decision-makers. Avoid calling during lunch (12-1 PM), when many are unavailable.

📝Use a Script: A strong script is crucial. Make sure it includes a friendly opener, clear value proposition, and a strong call to action.

📝 Log Every Call: Track every call you make. Record the contact’s name, role, and any objections they raise. This helps you tailor your future calls and build rapport.

Here's how to increase your chances of landing the location:

👥 Build Rapport First: Start with casual conversation to put the decision-maker at ease. Ask about their business, their customers, or any challenges they may be facing.

💼 Be Prepared and Professional: Bring printed brochures or a one-pager outlining the benefits of your vending services.
